Originally released in 1993 on Big Beat/Atlantic, MC Thick's The Show Ain't Over Till the Fatman Swings followed his 1991 underground single "Marrero (What the Fellas Be Yellin)" and marked a defining moment for the Marrero, Louisiana rapper. While early '90s New Orleans was dominated by bounce, MC Thick stood apart with gritty, street-level storytelling and a raw, unapologetic voice. Featuring "T.H.I.C.K." and production work involving T-Ray (Todd Ray), known for his work with Cypress Hill, the album remains an important piece of Southern rap history. Fully remastered and pressed on black vinyl, this is the first vinyl availability in decades. Housed in a full-color jacket with a printed insert and is limited to 500 copies worldwide.
